Free quality upscaler for Starfield
Bethesda’s open-world role-playing game Starfield has been infamous for only supporting AMD’s FSR2 graphics upscaling technology natively. To aid players whose graphics cards are different, utility mods such as the free-to-use Starfield Upscaler Mod have been developed. Developed and published by user PureDark, Starfield Upscaler Mod is an easy-to-use plugin that, when installed properly, allows the user to replace the game’s native FSR2 support with DLSS or XeSS. However, its most recent version can only support up to DLSS2 and is currently incompatible with DLSS3.
Furthermore, the mod comes with a built-in ReShade CAS effect, since DLSS has no sharpener feature. To be able to use it, Upscaler Base Plugin must be installed first, then the mod files need to be extracted to the game’s root folder.
